The Yekope Mission
Yekope means Open Door. We strive to be a safe haven for the women and orphaned children of Kogi State, Nigeria. We work closely with local governments and organizations to build a strong safety net for the most vulnerable in our community.
SOLUTION FOCUSED MISSION
Nutrition
$5.00 provides each child with 3 healthful meals and snacks per day.
Housing
Yekope is able to accommodate children from birth to 18 years. We welcome all with open arms.
Education
Infant and toddler staff are trained in early childhood development. School aged children attend school onsite. Yekope is dedicated to helping out children soar!
Community
Yekope means "open door". We are dedicated to breaking cycles by reaching out to our community.
